Below are PDF downloads of some papers that I have written over the past three years. Several of these have already been published, several have been submitted for publication and are under review or in-press, one is the text from a conference presentation and one is the first chapter from my Masters exegesis. You will notice that there are certain themes that repeat themselves throughout much of my writing. As my practice develops so too does the conceptual framework surrounding what I do. In this respect, each paper is a means of exploring and expanding upon the central ideas in my work as they modulate through different contexts and forms of engagement.

	Can You Hear The Femur Play?: Bone audio speakers at the nano scale (2006) A paper on the process of making bone audio speakers in collaboration with my Honours student William Wong.
	Process and Paradox, Art and Life (2006) Another article reflecting on my work at SymbioticA in the context of a wider discussion about some issues and tendencies in art dealing with biotechnology.
	Parametric Flesh: an artifact of a collaborative process, moving bodies and a digital 3D scanner (2006) A paper co-authored with Inger Mewburn on the process of making the Parametric Flesh poster.
	'Sing Dem Dry Bones, Sing': One woman's personal struggle with piezoelectric collagen and the journey towards singing bone (2005) A paper on the issues of interdisciplinary art/science collaboration with reference to my bone speaker project. Published in the procedings of New Constellations:Art Science and Society.
	Performing the Art of Life: Four projects (Introduction) (2005) The introduction to my Masters exegesis that outlines a theoretical framework for my practice and addresses many of the projects documented on this site.
	Journeys to the Other Side of the Navel (2004) A chapter written for a book entitled Art of the Biotech Era.
	Sonic Electric Transductions and the Art of Life (2004) A paper presented at the Bio Difference Conference as part of the Biennale of Electronic Art, Perth.
